K-12 schools and college campuses
K-12 and campus security that keeps your community welcoming
Families and students choose your school or campus for its community. ArmorTech officers protect that community without turning it into a checkpoint: visible, approachable, and trained for the moments that matter. We serve K-12 schools, including public charter and private schools, and college and university campuses.

What officers do on your campus
- Front gate and front office presence, with visitor check in support and access control
- Arrival and dismissal supervision alongside your staff
- Perimeter checks and building walkthroughs
- Coverage for games, performances, graduations, campus events and other after hours activities
- Visitor management, plus residence hall and after hours coverage for college campuses
- On-site supervisors and written incident reports after every notable event
Vetted and trained
Every officer holds a current BSIS guard registration, which requires a California DOJ and FBI fingerprint background check before they can work.
Our officers are trained in de-escalation and conflict mediation, CPR and first aid, and active shooter response.
We work to keep the same officers on your campus, so staff, students and parents see familiar faces.
Insured: We carry general liability ($1M per occurrence, $2M aggregate) and workers’ compensation insurance. Certificates of insurance and additional insured endorsements are available on request.
Planning, procedures and drills
A good officer is only part of the answer. We also help schools review campus risks, write practical emergency procedures, and run drills sized to your schedule and your students.
- Campus security assessments with clear, prioritized recommendations
- Emergency and lockdown procedure review
- Drill planning and staff briefings
- Recommendations on cameras, locks and visitor management tools

Common questions
Will officers be armed?
Both options are available and the choice is yours. Many schools prefer unarmed officers for daily coverage. Armed officers, who hold BSIS firearm permits, are available when an assignment calls for them, and K-9 teams are available on request for special events or campus sweeps.
How are officers screened?
California requires every security officer to hold a BSIS guard registration, which includes a DOJ and FBI fingerprint background check. We verify registration status before assigning anyone.
Can you cover a single event?
Yes. We staff one-time events as well as daily posts.
Security people are glad to see.
We hire career professionals, not warm bodies: friendly, dedicated officers who build real rapport with the people they protect.
