Licensing and compliance

Licensing and compliance

California regulates private security closely, and it should. Here is how to verify us and what our officers are required to hold.

Company licensing

  • Legal name: Yador Enterprises, Inc., doing business as ArmorTech Security
  • Private Patrol Operator License: No. 119899, issued by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS)
  • Headquarters: 1717 E. Vista Way, Suite 201, Vista, CA 92084
  • Better Business Bureau: BBB Accredited Business, accredited since December 2025

Anyone can verify a California security license on the Department of Consumer Affairs license search.

Officer requirements

  • A current BSIS guard registration, which requires a California DOJ and FBI fingerprint background check
  • State required guard training, including training before assignment and annual continuing training
  • For armed posts, a current BSIS firearm permit and regular range requalification
  • Written post orders for every assignment

Insurance and documentation

We carry general liability ($1M per occurrence, $2M aggregate) and workers’ compensation insurance. Certificates of insurance and additional insured endorsements are available on request. Our license number appears on this website and in our advertising, as California law requires.
